TOP RIPPLE SPRING :​

Ripple laminate made of unidirectional glass fabric bonded with resin. Ripple spring provides outstanding mechanical properties at elevate temprature and very high elasticity.

Its used in high-voltage generators  as an alternative to the two-part wedge. The waves in the ripple spring are normally flattened during the installation. Over the time when slot content shrinks, the ripple spring expands to take up the new space and holds the coils tight .
